Specs:

All steel plates shall comply with the following:
Material Grade as per EN-10028-3 P355 NL1. Steel Shall comply to be supplied with EN 10204, 3.2 type certificates and shall comply with below Requirements:
– Carbon content shall not exceed 23%
– Carbon equivalent content Percentage Ceq = C + Mn/6 + (Cr + Mo + V)/5 + (Cu + Ni)/15 ≤ 0.45
– All steel plates are to be through-thickness tensile tested in accordance with
BS EN 10164 and have a reduction in area of at least 35%.
-All steel plates shall have been ultrasonically tested at the mill in accordance
with the requirements of BS EN 10160:
a) Table 4 material body examination S1
b) Table 5 material edge examination E2.
– Charpy V-Notch impact test to be performed for each Heat number at -40°C. Minimum impact energy as per Table 6 of EN 10028-3
– Maximum allowable negative thickness tolerance: 0.3mm
