Inquiry – Aluminium Sheets – Metal factory

I am Saraniya from Agnikul Cosmos, an IIT Madras Incubated company. With reference to the same, we have our requirement of AL sheet for our Project and found your vast experience in this field will be of great support to us.

Requirement 1:  

Sheet temper – Al 2219 – T87 (AMS-QQ-A-250/30) Or Al 2195 – T84

Sheet Size : 

Length : 4500 mm (This is the final spec. As the sheets comes in coil, this length should not be a problem but if there is any constraint here we are open to iterate) 

Width : 2700 mm (This is the final spec. However, design iterations can be explored in the 1500-2700mm range if this will help in optimising  time / cost) 

Thickness : 5mm (tol: – 0.1mm) & If thickness greater than 5mm is readily available, we can consider these too.

Quantity : 2 ton (We can explore higher if MoQ has to be higher)

Surface finish – 3.2 micro-m 

 Flatness : 

– Longitudinal – 0.2 % max 

– Transverse – 0.3 % max “

1.    Mill certificate
2.    Chemical composition
3.    Mechanical properties
4.    Ultrasonic test
5.    Heat treatment certificate 
Requirement 2: 

Temper: AL 7075 – T7351
Plate Size : 1500 X 1500 X 65 mm ( this is the final spec. However any size bigger than this could be explored)
Standard : AMS 4078
Quantity : 1 ton (we can explore higher MoQ also) 
We shall explore Al 7050 in a later stage of design.
