Hello, I am contacting you in the context of a project being carried out within the company Tresses Metalliques J Forissier, the aim of which is to produce a new range of electrically conductive parts in aluminium for applications in the energy sector. As these parts (composed of a stack of thin plates) are currently made of copper, we would like to make prototypes in aluminium by trying out several different thicknesses (0.05mm; 0.1mm; 0.2mm). For this we would need a small quantity of several aluminiums (surface area of about 1m2, minimum width of 80mm), the aluminiums considered are: 1050/1350; 1070/1370; 5005; 6060; 7072 in an H111 (or O) annealed condition and possibly a version in a harder condition (H18 for example). We are open to other references of aluminium but it needs to have a great electrical conductivity .The quantities we need will evolve according to the results of the prototype tests, the final aim being to replace part of the 3500 tonnes of copper processed each year with aluminium. We would like to know which of the above-mentioned references you have available and the associated delivery times. I remain at your disposal for any further information on our needs, Yours sincerely Valentin Fabre |
